Like what was mentioned yesterday, ordinary pencils differ from their mechanical counterparts by a wide margin. The yellow pencils are there mostly for kids' use, since these pencils are much much cheaper. Kids sometimes tend to lose their school stuff, so why bother giving them very pricey? For the more affluent and mature, however, mechanical pencils are much better. Aside from the absence of the need for sharpening, mechanical pencils look more formal, more expensive--fit for an office professional like you. Aside from that, wooden pencils do not come in latex covered bodies that will ensure the good grip (the grip in wooden pencils is simply horrifying!).
