The right place to sit makes the difference in what you accomplish. If you sit on an uncomfortable chair or perhaps a work stool that is the wrong height, you will be thinking of nothing but your sore behind or back all day instead of focusing on your task.I have a work area with several benches or tables of varying heights. It was important to me to be able to roll down the line to stations where I had projects in varying degrees of completion.
That is why I chose work stools that come in adjustable heights and roll on casters. That way I can be comfortable and mobile at the same time. If I have to stoop over my work, I last about 15 minutes because I have a bad back and bending over my work was very irritating to it (kind of like washing dishes).
I also have a comfortable task chair that I use at my computer desk because it is much more comforting than a stool. The stools, however, are more practical for the higher benches and roll along table setup.
