The chalk board is long gone in this side of the world. Not only is it dirty on the hands, it is also a very good trigger for those whoe are asthmatic. When I was in elementary school, I remember that I especially disliked the chalkboard because it looks so messy when the chalk dust reaches my hand.
Thanks to whoever invented the whiteboard. Clean and professional-looking, I have never felt the need to revert back to the chalkboard anymore. The surface is smoother, so I won't hear any scratching sounds that I used to bear with during the chalkboard age. Say goodbye to the chalk dust. Only someone who wants to mess up himself/herself will get whiteboard ink on his/her hands. Sure, there is sometimes that bad smell that makes our head go heavy, but that is already dependent on the marker. There are smell-free markers out ther in the market, you know.
What's bothering me the most is the fact that most whiteboard erasers do not work. A lot of them are mere glorified wipers. How could I say so? These 'erasers' really don't erase. They just spread the ink lightly on the surface of the whiteboard. So instead of cleaning up the whiteboard, they just mess it up all the more. To clean it, I will still have to dampen a piece of cloth and use it to wipe the whiteboard. It isn't perfectly effective as well.
Good thing Office 1000 knows what its customers need. In this case, I found this whiteboard cleaner from Sanford Expo. This cleaner, which is stored in spray bottle, easily eliminates all the marks and ghostmarks in yout whiteboard away. No need to mess your hands too, because you only have to spray the surface and wipe it.
Sounds really convenient, no?
