What would you want a whistle for when you are working in an office?
After all, an office is supposed to be a relatively quiet place, where civilized people work to make a living. Why would anyone want to bring with him/her a tool typically used for getting attention?
I can only think of a number of reasons, and these are hardly related to the office--even to a regular home. For one, if you are a parent with a dozen children who make life a living hell for you, the whistle is a good tool you can use to tell them to give you the peace that you deserve. Sometimes you just have to employ such methods, even though they sound a bit comedic.
Another use that I can see is for sporting events that your office organizes. These kind of activities are organized by offices like only once a year, perhaps during the summer. You will see that you will have hardly any use for the whistle for the rest of the year?
So given that these possible reasons are hardly good enough, why would you still want to buy a whistle? Why, only you can have the answer. Just in case you really have to buy one, then Office1000 here has a number of whistles that you can check out.
Come to think of it, you can also use it when your coworkers forget that they are civilized people and start to get loud in the office. Talk about being a "whistle blower".
