Soduko, is also known as Number Place, a logic based placement puzzle game. Your objective is to fill each space with a number 1 - 9, so that every column, every row and every 3 x 3 box contains the digits 1 - 9. The creator of the puzzle provides a partially completed grid so that there is only one solution.
The modern puzzle was invented by Howard Garns, an American, in 1979 and published by Dell Magazines under the name "Number Place". In 1986 it became popular in Japan, when it was given the name Sudoku and published by Nikoli. In 2005 tt became an international hit.
The difficulty of a puzzle is based on relevance and positioning of the given numbers rather than their quantity. Therefore the number of givens does not always reflect a puzzle's difficulty. Computers based on the complexity of the solving techniques required can estimate the difficulty for a human to find the solution.
Office1000.com has the Deluxe Soduko Cube and the Soduko Slide Game from American Classic Toy.
