If you find it difficult to remember things, you are bound to have a painful life ahead. The enormity of information that you will have to go through everyday is enough to overwhelm even the most un-forgetful person there is--what more if you are a person who tends to forget even the name of your friends?
But that's what inventors are for, right? Their task is to make everyone's lives better. For forgetful people, the cure may come in thre form of brain surgery (lol. Is that even possible?) or memory enhancement drugs. However, these procedures are expensive--and there isn't an assurance that your memory will improve anyway.
What you need is something cheap and has a quick effect because memory cannot wait. What am I talking about? Sticky notes. These colorful pieces of sticky paper have been perennial members of the office since the day they were invented. Light, portable, and easily removable, the sticky note is every office worker's bestfriend.
Need to remind yourself to fax a document to a client? Put a sticky note. Need to call your partner but don't want to memorize the number? Put a sticky note. Need to tell your colleague who isn't around to finish some papers? Put a sticky note. You see, the office can be seen as a sea of sticky notes sticking their bodies on the office furnitures!
It would be nice if we have perfect and infinite memory. If everyone is just like that, there would be no need for sticky notes or daily organizers. But, heck, we're not perfect, and sticky notes do the job perfectly, anyway.
