My company frequently has me write procedures manuals to give new employees at the training stage. If anyone out there has done this before, you know how tedious it can be. You have to explain everything because you cannot assume they know ANYTHING! So here are some supplies that I found useful in my experience.Binders of all sizes will make the process easier and keeps everything organized. I find it useful to have a couple different binders for different categories of tasks. Sheet protectors are great too, because you can not only protect the pages, but you can make extra copies and put them behind the main page, so a new employee can take one and make there own notes and keep a single page if they need to. A variety of highlighters are always good to to illustrate key points. Hopefully this list and these ideas will be helpful to others who have ever had to do this task.
