Here is a neat tip for embellishing a scrapbook page. Take two pieces of transparency film and put a straw or other tubular object between them and sew them together making two seams, one on either side of the straw leaving the width border you desire.Leave a hole to fill in the border with some cute filler, such as sand beads, or other small decorative items. After filling, go ahead and close the openings. You can choose a filler that coordinates with the picture you center on it.
You can use either clear transparencies or colored ones depending on the effect you wish to make.
