In order to make some of our product item numbers more current with industry standards, we will be adjusting some of our listings for products on our website.

Some items, such as 05888SAN will undergo a simple change to 05888PAP. Currently, you can simply do a search in our search box on any Office1000 page with just the numerical item number 05888 and it will take you to that item, no matter what the suffix is.

Other items will undergo a more complex change and would not have been found on our site by searching with the old number, without some intervention on our end. For example: 50462SAN, which is an Apex ballpoint pen in black ink, will soon be 1733532PAP. As you can see, it may be a bit confusing.

For that reason, when we adjust the item descriptions on our website, we will include the OLD item number in the description text, so if you search for the old number, it will still bring up the listing. When you see this information listed there in the item descriptions, such as: Old item number 50462SAN, you will be able to tell that this is the same item only with a new number.

Remember, you can also search for the NAME of the product. For example, for that same 1733532PAP item, you can just enter Apex in the search box and it should take you to any groupings that contain that word. Make SURE you read the description, since it will bring up ANY group with that word and you may have to discern which of the items is what you are looking for. You will be able to tell that you have the correct item by reading the description.

If you search for legal pads, you will get listings that include ALL sizes of legal pads, so you have to make sure that you click buy now next to the one you want, not the first one that appears at the top.

You can also look in our index by product to look at different items grouped together by type. Note: just because a product isn't in the INDEX categorized with like items, doesn't mean we don't carry it. Search for the item itself if it is not in the index.

We will be working hard to try and get all of the changes to our item numbers implemented quickly so that you can make informed buying decisions.
