Despite the usefulness they prove to be, post-it notes are probably some of the most tiring office supplies on the planet. Wherever you go inside the office, these rectangular pieces of yellow sticky paper seem to not get off your vision. When you are in your cubicle, there are post-it notes. When you go to your neighbor's cubicle, there's also bound to be some post-it notes. In your boss' office, post-it notes are also most probably there. In the reception area? The cafeteria? Post-it notes as well. It seems that the only place where post-it notes are already absent is the comfort room--or not?
While it is good that you have some way to remind yourself of tasks that need to be done or to tell other people what to do and what not to do, it can get to the nerve at times. Notes everywhere. Reminders everywhere. It is never healthy.
But it seems that these notes won't go out of our offices anytime soon, so why don't you add a little joy to your post-it notes. Add a little twist and brighten up your office. It pays to lighten up the mood even with as little effort as possible.
For post-it notes, you can cheer up the atmosphere by ditching these rectangluar notes and replace them with cute-cut post-it notes like these ones from Z-Label. As you can see, they come in various colors and shapes. While I am positive that these will not revolutionize the way we work, a little cheer-up still helps.
