If there's one thing that I learned about scrapbooking, it's that you have to keep your supplies organized, or else suffer separating all the papers, pens, and other stationery supplies that you have the next time you make a scrapbook.
It pays to be organized with everything that you do.
I learned this the hard way when I just ditched all my materials in one big box after a scrapbooking session with my friends. Sure, we had had fun and we had come out with good-looking products, but the next time we made a scrapbook, we had a hard time finding where the supplies are. The colored papers were all mixed up, we couldn't find where my scissors were, while the rest of my scrapbooking materials were all over the place. What's even worse is that a bottle of ink spilled inside the box, drenching some of the supplies inside the box.
The next week, I brought with me some Itoya poly envelopes. I primarily bought those to organize all of my stickers and embellishments in the envelopes, but as you can see, there are far more uses. For one, having the inks seperated from the rest of the supplies ensure that there won't be any drenching business next time.
I bought around a dozen of these envelopes since I have a lot of supplies in stock. I put the colored papers in two or three; my scissors, cutters, and tapes in another one; my paint and ink bottles two more envelopes; while the rest of my embellishments were put in the rest.
I never thought that poly envelopes could be so useful when it comes to scrapbooking.
