I guess there is a dryer for everything now. I never would have guessed that it would have made a difference when I cleaned my motorcycle whether I used a hair dryer or a leaf blower as long as the water came off.Now that i DO know the difference, I will never go back to just using any old tool for the job.
Every job has a specific tool, although you can make do with what you have at times. Just like you probably wouldn't use a kitchen broom to brush your teeth, why use a big blower to dry your motorcycle?
I had heard from a friend that had purchased a motorcycle air dryer that they couldn't believe how well the tool removed all of the little water droplets from between the pipes and in all the little crevices.
I decided I would take the plunge and purchase an Air Force Blaster motorcycle dryer, since I normally spent a couple of hours attending to the fine little spaces after I washed my bike, where the water spots seem to live on forever. I figured it couldn't hurt to try, on the chance it would give me more time to ride instead of clean.
There were three sizes available, but I chose the middle 4.0 HP motor dryer. My friend has the 8 horse and it is absolutely unbelievable in the quality of the drying power. My 4 horse motor is more than adequate for me since I only have one bike.
Heck, it even got rid of some of the dirt I missed when I washed it! I would recommend to everyone who takes a lot of pride in their ride to get a dryer made just for the job!
