Working in front of the computer for 8 to 9 hours everyday inside the office can be personally stressful for me. I love my sleep, and I tend to do it every afternoon. However, when you are in the office, you should have the decency to make sure that the payment for your time goes to something well.
If there is only one thing about my job that I personally like, it's the endless discussions with your officemates about what you should do next to tackle the problem. Unlike a lot of office-related jobs out there, I am fortunate to have the chance to solve the problems I face on my own or with my officemates and present the problems and solutions to my supervisor afterwards. The marker and the markerboard have been my bestfriends for a couple of weeks now, and they know very well that they are used so much.
At least I don't get to crunch numbers every single day of my life. I am not asked to encode endless lines of information to the database, and at least I am still given tasks to do even though the instructions can be a bit messy at times. That is how it is done in our office, and I am glad to say that my mind is still made to work.
Now what I only have to work is how to stay fit while at the office. 8 to 9 hours of sitting in front of the computer does not do anything except for making you unhealthy.
