At Office1000, we get hundreds and hundreds of requests from people who have lost the combination to their Sentry safe, and are desperately seeking the answer of how to open their safe.In this two part informational post, we will not only instruct you on how to go about obtaining your combination, but we provide a one click solution to get you on your way!
For obtaining a lost key to your Sentry Safe, we will address that in the next post here on Office1000.
If you are a safe owner, you must realize that it SHOULDN'T be a matter of asking and receiving a combination for a safe or a lockbox. I mean, what if some thief was trying to get your combination? Would you want it to be as simple as making a phone call? I think not.
We have chosen Sentry Safe for which to give you the instructions for obtaining a combination because we sell Sentry Safe's great products here on Office1000.com, and want you to be informed should the need arise to get a replacement combination.
Whether you purchased your safe from us or not, you can use this printable form for obtaining a replacement combination for your safe from Sentry. Be sure to read all of the instructions on the form before you send it.
The most important thing about sending in this form to request your combination, is that it must be NOTARIZED. By signing the form and having it notarized, you are stating that you are the owner of the safe and have the right to obtain the combination.
You can also use this form if you are the person in charge of an estate, where the safe owner has died and you need access to the safe, as well as requesting the combination with proof that you hold power of attorney for the safe owner.
All you have to do is print our form, fill it in, have it notarized, and follow the directions on the form to submit it to Sentry. It takes approximately 48 hours to receive your combination after the form and payment have been received by Sentry. Then you are on your way to getting back into your safe!
For those of you who did not purchase a Sentry Safe, but instead another brand such as Brinks, Meilink, Gary or other brand of safe, you can be pretty sure you need to do this same thing with each manufacturer. It is best to look on their site for specific information.
