How often do you look at the mirror? Does looking good bear so much importance to you? If it does, then how much importance do you give to it?
Personally, it does not matter much. Hiding behind the name "Blog Stories" for a number of months will not give any justice to looking well. Why will it matter in the first place if what is only needed from me are my words?
Meanwhile, for some other businesses, looking good is integral. That's another reason why employers hiring sales employees do interview the applicants. They want to know if these people have personalities that will appeal to customers. In the sales business, physical appeal matters a lot, whether we like it or not.
Beyond that, however, people should strive to look good for their own satisfaction. Satisfying yourself with the way you look should always be your first reason why you want to dress up. Always think that you dress up for yourself, not for others. A boosted self-esteem carries over and, in time, your customers will see how much you have improved as well.
Now there's a thin line between a good self-esteem and narcissism. When one is too in love with himself or herself to the point that there are mirrors everywhere (mirrors in the living room, mirrors in the car, mirrors in the locker, etc.), then that might be too much. But that's probably just me.
