"Where did my keys go?"I guess this is one of those questions that a person repeats to ask himself/herself over and over again. We spend many many hours of our life trying to look for these keys. No matter how organized a person is, there will come a time when he/she won't know where did the keys go. This is largely because keys are small and could be put practically everywhere.
There have been lots of stories made about lost keys, some of which are funny, some are not. Your blogger here even has his own story to share.
I cannot remember where I had gone that day. What I am sure of is that I was outside, and the house was locked--and the keys were inside! I had forgotten to bring it with me. Now, where was it? I couldn't remember immediately, until I realized that it was inside a drawer in my room, which was far away from the window. What was I supposed to do? I borrowed a long pole from my neighbor, the kind that they use to pick fruits from the nearby mango tree. It had a hook that I could use to get the keys by its ring. It would be tough, but I had no choice. I was in luck, the drawer was open. Leaning on the open window, I slowly put the pole inside and tried to hook keys. Slowly, very slowly, I got it--but it slid down the pole and unto the floor! Tsk. I had to try again, but really really slowly and carefully. Once I hooked it once again, I tilted the pole up, and the keys slid to my hands.
I was sweating really hard. I was not used to doing those kinds of things. What is the lesson of the story? Make a duplicate copy of your key and hook it to your pants with a key ring.
