Did you ever have the chance, back in your teen years, to be an intern at some office? Did your immediate supervisor show any form of irritability hanging around with a then-teenager like you? Well, Dave here is most certainly irritated spending an entire day with a high school student intern. It's one of those moments when you really feel the transition in your life, when you start to leave school and head for the "real" world, as some adults would love to refer to when they are around teenagers.
And why do adults hate hanging around with student interns? Well, I cannot be too sure. I just know that some office employees exhibit their superiority complexes when around the student interns. It might be that they are just following a cycle: they got treated the same way when they had been interns so they end up treating the interns like that, too.
And what do the interns get? They say it's the experience of feeling how it is like to work in an office. Good for them if they really get to experience work that is related to their background. Sadly enough, a lot of interns only end up serving coffee and doing clerical work. Time will be put to better use in other activities, in my opinion.
