My father is always complaining about how he can't see the small numbers on ordinary phones. I constantly tell him that its not the numbers, you just need to get a pair of glasses and that's the end of the story. but seeing how he is dead set against a pair of glasses, I decided on one other alternative. Why not get him one of those big button phones? Turns out the whole concept worked out great for him. It wasn't really the numbers that bothered him about the other phone, but how he couldn't read which button was which. On the digital phones, he didn't know which button answered the call. So maybe he didn't need a big button phone afterall... but it is sure working out well for him. Tags: phone big button • 0 Comments. - Permalink |

Work can be very daunting for some. Stressful even for a lot others. When work becomes more of a chore than something enjoyable, work output becomes less satisfiable--and then your boss will reprimand you for the not-so-good work and you end up getting more stressed. What do you have to do? Smiling a lot may be the answer. Smiling can keep a lot of stress away. I don't have to tell you that it takes less muscle work to smile than to frown--so why frown? Smiling, even in the face of daunting tasks, may help motivate you to come out with excellent work. It takes a lot of will power to finish things on-time. Smiling can assist you with that. Aside from that, I find smiling to be infectious. Smile once, smile a hundred times, and your coworkers might notice. At one point they might think you are becoming crazy or something, but I am pretty sure that, in due time, they might want to smile a lot too once they realize that smiling is working well for you. That is basically what you have to do if you want to accomplish something. First you should have the will power to set up a mood. After that is the time to actually set up the mood and infect others. Frowning may make others frown. Smiling a lot may make others smile a lot, too. It only takes a single lit candle to light up a hundred candles in the room. Maybe this is hard sell, but these smiley magnetic clips can help you setting up that positive vibe. Who knows? Tags: smileys • magnetic clips • 0 Comments. - Permalink |

I asked a friend, "What will it be like if, instead of getting more corrupt by the minute, we become purer during every second of our life?"What if we return to the pure and clean state of body and mind? What if life revolves around purification and perfection? What if we return to where we came from--innocence? I myself am not sure what the implications of such a life will be, but I think it will be a wondrous moment for all of humanity. For the longest time now, I have been greatly affected and interested in innocence and how they work on people. I have been rather protective of this innocence, without realizing that time passes and it is bound to decay. A child without any knowledge of all the evils (or so what they were said to be) of the world shall and--I am most certain--they will learn all of these in due time. Yes, it is all a matter of time. Today, you'll see these children playing around with their toy dolls and modeling clays, then after some time you'll already see them going to school. During this time you will already see a lot of changes taking over, and it is inevitable. You cannot do anything about it. What you can only do is to help them survive in a world where innocence is non-existent Tags: innocence • modelling clays • 0 Comments. - Permalink |

An electronic time clock, sometimes referred to as a clock card machine, a punch clock, a time recorder, or a bundy clock, is an electronic timepiece used to assist companies in tracking the hours an employee worked during a fiscal month. All you have to do is to insert a heavy card, popularly known as a time card, into the slot on the time clock. When the time card makes contact at the rear of the slot, the machine will print the month, the day, the hour, and the minute that card was inserted. The regular time is printed on the right side of the time card and on the left side if the employee renders an overtime. In case a power interruption ensues, an internal battery is ready for backup to keep track of the time and print on the cards. They can be usually installed on the wall or on top of a table. Here are some specifications of the Royal TC100 Electronic Time Clock, which is featured here at Office 1000. - It has a flourescent digital display.
- It displays the day of the week, date, and time.
- It has a manual or automatic activation.
- Its internal calendar automatically adjusts for numbers of days in a month, leap years, and daylight savings time.
Yes, we can already have a computer to do this job, but time clocks are still dominant for their sheer efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Tags: electronic time clock • 0 Comments. - Permalink |

The 3M Scotch Removable Mounting Squares are excellently designed for easy mounting jobs. This product is designed to provide for various household, office, and industrial needs. It had undergone strict quality screening and testing, as quality at the most reasonable price is its utmost priority. Great things in one small package! That's what I will call these mounting squares. The square's double-sided adhesive allows you to make your mounting jobs easier--no need to think of how you will stick both sides together! It can be also removed easily without leaving a mess. That's one problem most of us face and it feels good that we have sticky mounters that do not need leave a mess. Once mounted, you can then easily hang items such as your pictures, your keys, frames, or anything that weighs up to two (2) pounds, the loading capacity of each tab. Note that you can use more than one tab in one mounting if you wish to meet the loading capacity of the item to be mounted. If, by chance, you mount unsatisfyingly, it can be easily removed without the residue of the mounting square unlike most competitors in the market. More often than not, other adhesives stick too much. Moreso, they require scraping of the surface in which the adhesives were mounted before they are completely cleaned up, but they will most likely damage the surface. So thinking of what to use for mounting your stuff? Choose only 3M, the trusted brand in this field. Tags: mounting squares • 0 Comments. - Permalink |

Inside the office, it is a common sight to see pictures of family members hung on the walls of office cubicles. These are just normal things to post when you are working hard for hours and hours without seeing any of your loved ones. But, you can save a lot of space if you can store all these pictures in a single, small place that you always see--like a digital picture frame, perhaps? And such a digital picture frame is what we have here at Office 1000--in the form of a memory cup. Yep, that is right, folks, all of your family's pictures and more in a single container. This memory cup can store up to 70 digital photos in 6 image formats. It already has a software preinstalled to allow you add, edit, and delete pictures at once. Everything is in flash memory--so no need to use a duct tape to hold the pictures up! What's even better about this memory cup is that you can really use it to place your pens, pencils, and special notes inside. Now that is something you can really use and not just waste space in the office. I must admit, however, that seeing pictures posted on the walls evoke a certain sense of hominess while at the office. There is this sense of "I am still at home even if I am really in the office". Having them around while having these album mugs is the best combination, I suppose. Need to fasten a document to some flat surface? Do you need something that is much easier to post and remove than a staple wire? Do you need something that looks much formal-looking than a sticky tape? Well what you probably need is a thumbtack. Part of studying is extracting important information from a wealth of text and turning it into a more manageable source of knowledge. Not everything that is written on the text book is important for our purposes. To do this, there are two primary ways that I can think of. The first is by taking down notes, which, I think, is an important skill that anybody should acquire. This is not only useful for blocks of texts but also for speeches or other oral presentations, wherein there is no other way but to write down important details. It is impossible to copy down the whole speech. The mind works far faster than the hand.
