Are you feeling blah when you walk into your workspace in your home office? I know I was feeling pretty blase' when it came to getting inspired in the morning. I think the nicest thing we can do for ourselves is to surround our workspace with things that we love and that will inspire us to be creative.

I work from my home office quite a bit and was becoming a bit stale in my routine and couldn't seem to break out of the rut I was in. I decided I needed to change a couple of things and get a new perspective.Since I work with a laptop computer which is very mobile, I decided the first step was to move my work area somewhere that was a bit more inspiring than a corner of a spare bedroom. I remember the days when I used to say in this blog that we should all be good office workers who give our employers' their money's worth. I also remember saying that we should refrain from doing things that will put our paid time to no good use. I have had my personal encounter with calligraphy in the past. I think that was back then in high school, the time that I consider to be the peak of my artistic ability, assuming that I ever had that. I did not have the luxury of using calligraphy pens back then. I only used the ordinary sign pen, which used to smudge my hand with too much ink. I wonder what would happen if I continued with this craft. Surely, possessing a calligraphic pen like the Sheaffer Calligraphy Viewpoint Pens would not have made much of a difference, but it might have increased my interest in the art by a bit. The thing with most pens is that they are very difficult to grip, precisely because of their non-ergonomic casing. This is not the case with the Sheaffer calligraphy pens, which are encased in rubberized barrels--no need to worry about gripping the pen too much! Each package comes with 2 jet black ink cratridges and comes in individual point sizes. You can choose from 3 different point sizes: fine, medium, and broad. With the Sheaffer Calligraphy Viewpoint Pens, calligraphic writing is much easier and more enjoyable. I might not go back fulltime to calligraphy anymore, but with these pens, I probably will from time to time. Tags: calligraphy pens • 0 Comments. - Permalink |

I have been struggling as many others with pain in my wrists and hands for quite a few years. Since I have been typing and writing for many years, I definitely chalk part of it up to arthritis, and part to carpal tunnel syndrome.I have found some office products that definitely help ease the discomfort of the carpal tunnel and the numbing effect is has on my wrists and fingers. You have made the decision to step in the right direction and try to organize your computer equipment into a manageable system. Great!Using a LAN rack will save you time, which saves you money and headaches. However, there may be some ideas that will save you frustration after you have set everything up and have things running again. We normally keep a number of things inside our pockets, depending on which ones we use the most. Personally, I almost always keep a handy pen inside my pockets, because you will never know when you will need them. You will never know when you will suddenly have the need to sign an important document. When you are a busy person, there are a lot of documents to sign and there really aren't any definite schedules for such activities. Or, more normally, it's just that you have to write down a phone number on any sheet of paper. Unless you have sharp memory, I'm sure you already know what I am talking about. The worst thing that could ever happen to anyone who usually carries a pen around is to have the pen ink spilled inside your pants. You'll be just surprised one day when, once you reach inside your pocket, you find pen ink scattered all over your pants, your hands, and probably your shirt. Pen ink is difficult to remove, so you might as well throw that away. You don't have to experience that, not when earning the money you will use to replace the shirt is difficult. We have here at Office1000 some plastic pocket protectors where you can put your pens inside. Now you don't have to worry if the ink spills. It all stays in the pocket protector. Operating a pre-school is probably one of the hardest jobs I can ever think of. They already say that parenting one child is already one heck of a job. What more if you are going to take care of dozens and dozens of children? Well, sure, children are lovable. They hardly know any of the evils of the world, and they will most likely follow what you instruct them to do (except for some special cases, of course), but they can be really energetic as well--so energetic that you might lose all of your energies yourself running after them. Pre-school field trips are not any better. These trips are usually organized to give the children a breather and a new environment that they will learn to cope with. This can be a nightmare for the pre-school teacher if the children decide to exhibit their most energetic forms in public at the same time. The children might get lost, or they might break something, or they might end up in kiddie fights and hurt each other. You can always stick something like a wristpass wristband with, say, GPS receivers to track them in case they suddenly get lost, but that can do only a little to take care of them. In spite of that, a lot of pre-school teachers still love their jobs. Why, you ask? It's because they have the patience and, most of all, the passion to deal with kids, however unruly they sometimes can be. This is all part of growing up, and a dedicated teacher knows how to make sure that they are guided well. Tags: wristpass wristbands • 0 Comments. - Permalink |
