If there's another aside from stressful work that anyone cannot like about being inside an office, it's probably the office attire requirement. Sure, going around in office wearing your coat and tie or your slacks (if you're a girl) adds some credibility and decency to the office, but wearing them around every single day can be really stiff, can't it? That's why most offices have this "Casual Friday" rule wherein employees can go to work in their comfortable outfits during the last day of the workweek. But how comfortable can you be inside an office? Looking at this video, Greg was certainly comfortable with his Casual Friday outfit, wearing those short shorts, much to the dismay of his boss and Cathy of the accounting department. None of this fun-looking adhesive clips could possibly contain them. Was it really indecent? Well, as a reference, Cathy claimed that she can see Greg's you-know-what. Where do we really toe the line between beinig comfortable and being indecent? Can anyonre really go around in office wearing those kinds of shorts? I'm not so sure about that. The AC might freeze my legs to death. However, I must admit, getting my legs out to the world can be definitely liberating. If there are no regulations governing Casual Friday in your office, then it's time for you to mimic Greg and liberate yourself! Just kidding. It's difficult to get a new job these days, you know. Here at Office 1000, we try to give you as much alternatives as possible to every product that we sell. We understand that your choice does not stand for everybody else's and that it would be best if we try to accommodate as much requests as possible. That is why, time and again, we present you various products of the same category in this blog to introduce you to our new products. What I am going to show you now is our new set of office badges. In the past, I have shown you office badges up for sale. These badges can be used for proper identification inside the office, if you belong to a small company which does not necessarily have a systemized ID system. For these kinds of set-ups, purchasing pre-made name badges is already the best option. Just write or print down the name and your workforce is already OK. But what if what you want is a little more unique? Surely, a number of companis have already purchased our other name badges, so it will be unsurprising if you see their employees some time in the future bearing the same-looking office badge. What if you want to add some personal touch and create your own design? Is that possible for these otherwise sensitive office badges? Yes, it most certainly is. Among our products that will answer to these requests is the Pressure Sensitive Laser/Inkjet Printer Name Badges from C-Line Products. These badges, obvious from their name, are tolerant from pressure exerted by laser or inkjet printers, so say goodbye to destroyed badges after printout! The badges also come with free software instructions to create your own software. It doesn't really take a lot of time to make your own badges, so it's best to release more of those creative juices and start working! Are you stuck in the same position in your company for many years already? Do you feel that your efforts are taken for granted and ignored for somebody else's? Despite this thought, do you feel that there's no place for you in other companies? Well, we can only speculate as to why you are ignored, but getting yourself bitter beside the cafeteria table won't do you any good. You probably feel it right now, or you probably don't, but it's probably it: you have to get that graduate degree if you want to move on with your career. It is not surprising if your company prefers employees with graduate degrees tucked up their sleeves. It adds credibility and authority, so why not think of getting one? In the business scene, of course the most prefered of them all is the Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree. MBA programs provide students knowledge on advanced techniques in the field of business and organizational management of assets, employees, and delivery of goods. Anyone from different backgrounds can benefit from this, since we are all engaged in one business or another. Another excellent degree that I can think of is the Masters of Economics degree. While not really different from the MBA, the Master of Economics degree is slightly different such that a program in Economics will train you in the study of the effects of the inflow and outflow of assets within your orgazanization as it relates to customers, employees, and business owners; and the study of the effects of your business/organization with respect to your location and the customers within your area of coverage. You won't exactly go wrong with either of the two, though more people prefer to have an MBA. Tags: mba • master of economics • cafeteria tables • 0 Comments. - Permalink |

The thing with putting up post-it notes is that they can be very addictive and entertaining. I personally some friends of mine that, due to their busy schedules, opted to put up a lot of sticky notes on to their organizers, their notebooks, and practically anything that they come into contact with. It seems that due to the busy schedules, they put the responsibility of "remembering" their tasks to the post-it notes, who are otherwise unaware of what it is made to do. Their owners love them, so that probably makes it a whole lot better. On the contrary, this can be very stressful for some others who only want some peace of mind and less stress at school, at work, or at home. These people see nothing but work, work, and more work once they notice the array of notes sticking to the walls of their place. Now that would be very sad for the innocent stick-on note, wouldn't it? The note knows nothing about its owner's stress and problems, and yet it is dragged on to the situation. How can it be possibly happy when its owners is under fire? I'd say give them a happy face and everyone will end up cheering. Pin your notes with one of these wall magnets, featuring a smiling noseman. Not only will that cheer you up, that will also brighten the day of your duty note! So go ahead, give it a try. Put a happy tone to your task notes and you'll see yourself accomplishing them with a smile. Tags: wall magnets • 0 Comments. - Permalink |

In today's world, everyone has their eye on going "Green". There are green products everywhere, to our benefit. It is our way of trying to put the brakes on destroying the very environment in which we survive. With the new generation of Rating Systems for buildings, we have the LEED 2009 "Leadership for Energy and Environmental Design" and the USGBC "United States Green Building Council guidelines that many look to for guidance in creating buildings that have a lesser carbon footprint.
