Feeliing dirty? That's because your hands probably are. Well, forget that you had to fix that photocopier because your office is cutting down on miscellaneous expenses. Forget that you have to bring out your own trash this time because only two janitors are managing the building. That is the office life. Sometimes you have to give a hand in doing the dirty work around the office.
Not that you want it, of course. The only thing that you can do is to clean yourself up after a day of dirty work. Don't forget to get a hand cleaning pad to wipe out the dirt, and once you get back to your home. Take a bath. It helps, I promise.
Just bear in mind that everything will return to normal. If you work in a large multinational corporation, doing these little things is a no-no. Someone has to do it but not the white-collar workers. If you work in a small office in one of the city's corners, well, you might see yourself and your officemates cleaning the place while a crisis is still in a crisis.
Just think about this: be glad that you still have a job with you even though thousands of workers are being laid off everyday. Be thankful that it was the janitors in the office who were sacked. Not you. It is not as if you're being asked to clean the bathroom, anyway, so be a little more patient. Everything will be a whole lot better once the economy improves and your office's fiscal health returns to normal. Got it?
