I couldn't figure out why may hands kept going numb and cold on the keyboard. I knew it wasn't just writer's block causing the equivalent of a distraction, i.e., my imagination refocusing the lack of writing ability for the moment telling me that my hands are cold and numb.No, I knew that my hands WERE really cold and numb.
