Quite recently, I found it difficult to type with my notebook's keyboard. I found it difficult not because it's stressful for my wrist. I found it difficult not because the keys are hard to press. I found it difficult to type on my keyboard because it is getting dirtier and dirtier by the minute!
Well, no, the keys aren't the ones that are actually dirty. It's the areas beneath the keys. There are areas in my notebook's keyboard where dust particles can accumulate, and I'm not exactly fond of accumulating dust particles. Who is, anyway?
I already tried dusting the keyboard with a brush, but to no avail. They just won't come out. A fried suggested that I should get one of those USB-powered keyboard vacuum cleaners. I have not seen any of these cleaners yet, but I guess I have no choice but to buy one tomorrow when I go downtown.
Cleaning one's keyboard is just one of those fundamental maintenance measures that any responsible computer should do. Unless you really want your computer to look dirty, you should make sure that the surfaces are shiny and squeaky clean. Apparently, I forgot to check that out.
